Dining and Entertainment
With one of the most breathtaking views in the West of Scotland, the Restaurant in the Castle offers a truly unique dining experience.
Award-winning Head Chef, Angus Macfarlane and his team create the finest delights of Scottish cuisine. From succulent fresh seafood to Argyll lamb, Buccleuch beef and home-grown vegetables, their commitment is to the very best of Scottish produce, skillfully prepared and creatively presented.
An excellent selection of carefully chosen fine wines from around the world complements the dining experience as does the after-dinner choice of more than 50 malt whiskies from the bar.

The Bar
And in a hotel that prides itself on quality, it is no surprise to walk into a warm and welcoming bar, with a roaring log fire to keep out the most dreich of days, and find such a comprehensive selection of local ales, whiskies, and wines.
A selection of draught beers and lagers are always available too along with a great range to satisfy an ever popular demand for international bottled beers.
A true Scottish experience is also not complete without savouring a malt whisky or two.
With a superb selection of over 60 single malts, many of them from the our delightful whisky bar has enough to please even the greatest of connoisseurs, and can make for an interesting evening of tastings. The wonderful peaty flavours from Islay can be compared against the more mellow Malts from the Highlands and Lowlands.
And after discussing and tasting a few drams, why not visit one of the many local distilleries to see just how this 'water of life' is produced.
